Easy Mosaic Pro Edition is an image editing application that helps you transform any image into a well-defined mosaic pattern. A photo mosaic is a an image divided into multiple cells of various forms, each of which is replaced by another photograph of an appropriate average color. When such an image is zoomed in, it appears to be made of thousands of smaller pictures.
Easy Mosaic offers two ways to edit the images: for beginners and for advanced users. Once the mode is selected, the next step is to add the image used as the mosaic's main picture. This should be a clear, well-made picture with a good resolution. For mosaic's small images the application includes 220 low-resolution pictures. The Cell photos settings allow users to select these images, or to add new ones, custom-made. Mosaic size tab sets the picture output resolution, layout, and size. Various presets for direct printing on paper are also available.
The next step is to set the size, shape, and pattern of the cells from the Cell size Tab. Rectangle, triangle, round, rhombus, or hexagons can be selected, as well as three different pre-made patterns. The Options tab selects the level of randomization used, the percentage of color enhancement, and the alpha blend of the main image. The last tab, Output, creates the mosaic and saves it to a chosen directory. The mosaics are saved as bitmap images, while imported images can be JPG, JPEG, DIB or .BMP. Easy Mosaic Pro Edition works under Windows 98/ME/2000/2003/XP/Vista. |
